Code of Conduct and Safeguarding Policy
At Murrayfield Ice Arena, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all users, staff, and stakeholders. This Code of Conduct and Safeguarding Policy outlines the standards of behaviour expected and the measures we take to protect individuals, particularly children and vulnerable persons.
1. Purpose
To promote safety, dignity, and respect in all interactions.

All users of Murrayfield Ice Arena.
Employees, contractors, and volunteers.

All individuals visiting or using the facility must:
Treat others with respect, fairness, and dignity.
Refrain from discrimination, harassment, bullying, or abusive behaviour.
Use respectful language in communication (no hate speech or offensive remarks).
Respect privacy and confidentiality of others.
Follow all site rules, laws, and community guidelines.
4. Safeguarding Principles
We are committed to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults by:

5. Reporting Concerns
Anyone who has a safeguarding concern must report it immediately to the Duty Manager, email contact office@murrayfieldicearena.co.uk phone number: 011-337-6933.
Reports will be taken seriously, investigated promptly, and handled confidentially.
No one will face retaliation for reporting a concern in good faith.
6. Responsibilities
Management: Ensure safeguarding policies are in place, updated, and enforced.
Staff/Volunteers: Comply with this policy and complete safeguarding training where applicable.
Users/Community Members: Follow the Code of Conduct and report any concerning behaviour.
7. Monitoring and Review
