The Edinburgh Capitals are an amateur ice hockey team based in Edinburgh, Scotland, currently competing in the Scottish National League.

Established in 1998, the Capitals have a rich history in British ice hockey, having previously played in the British National League (BNL) and the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). After ceasing operations in 2018 due to the loss of their home ice contract, the team made a comeback in 2022 under new management and rejoined the SNL.

The Capitals play their home games at the historic Murrayfield Ice Rink, located near the Murrayfield Rugby Stadium. The team is known for its distinctive white, navy, and red colours. As of the 2024-25 season, Steven Lynch serves as the head coach, with Joel Gautschi as the team captain. The Capitals have a dedicated fan base and continue to contribute to the growth of ice hockey in Scotland.
